Doug
Crawford
Doug Crawford has been
a management consultant for over 15 years, following a successful career
as a line manager with both Unilever and Rank Xerox. Prior to founding
Cerus Consulting he was a Director of a global specialist HR consultancy
where he was responsible for retail sector leadership as well as managing
the relationships with a number of major national and international client
accounts. Doug has worked with numerous national and multi-national organisations,
in the UK, Europe and Africa, and has extensive experience of working
with public, private and not for profit organisations. He is a qualified NLP business practitioner, an
experienced coach and a Member of the Chartered
Institute of Personnel and Development.

Celia Barker
Celia Barker has fifteen years experience consulting with clients on improving
individual and organisational performance. She has been working independently
for nine years having previously been a managing consultant with The Hay
Group. Celia has deep and extensive consulting experience in the retail,
financial services, charity and hospitality sectors. Prior to entering consulting,
Celia was a line manager and a human resource manager in the international
hospitality industry. Her experience included responsibility for H.R. development
and services across operations in the U.K., Europe and the Middle East.

David Fitt
David is an experienced and successful leadership development
consultant / trainer and executive coach, with particular experience
in the education, financial services, business services, FMCG and voluntary
sectors. Working independently since 2000, he has acted as executive
coach to a number of senior managers in industry and the service sector,
and to Headteachers and Principals in the education sector. He has designed
and delivered university-accredited middle management development programmes
for FE colleges and secondary schools. He works with a range of approaches
but specialises in management development and personal effectiveness.
He also works both with large corporate clients (e.g. Boots, Securicor,
Rentokil Initial and AMEC) and, increasingly, with executives in the
SME sector.
Before this David was a worldwide partner at Hay Group. He had a variety
of roles, in particular leading the UK management development practice
as Hay adopted and developed McBer approaches across its network, and
managing major client accounts. With a broad human resources background
he places great importance in working across the whole spectrum of HR
disciplines to find integrated approaches that address client issues
and enable significant change.
Prior to joining Hay in 1985, David was Human Resources Director for
Norsk Hydro Fertilisers. He had joined its predecessor organisation Fisons
from British Airways in 1978, where starting as a graduate trainee he
had acquired significant hand-on experience across the whole range of
HR functions.
He has an MA in Modern Languages, Oxford University, a Diploma in Management
Studies from Central London Poly and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development
Helen
Ash
Helen Ash spent her early career in the fast paced, dynamic retail sector where
she worked in a central buying role for a major department store group, before
moving in to store management and then HR, prior to becoming independent. Specialising
in people and organisational development, Helen has worked with a variety of
profit and ‘not for profit’ organisations, helping them realise
the full potential of their people. Much of her work has involved the implementation
of commercially focused people and people management strategies, concentrating
on the implementation of organisational and behavioural change. Specifically
she is experienced at supporting senior managers to develop business cultures
and leadership styles, which allow them to effectively manage their people
to achieve growth and increase profitability.

Laini Millar
Laini Millar is an experienced Human Resources and Organisational Development
consultant whose expertise lies in developing the potential within individuals
and teams in order to maximise their performance and impact bottom line
results. She has held development positions in a leading global Human
Resources consultancy, where she was responsible for working with and
developing senior management. Laini has cross sector industry experience
and has worked with both national and multi-national organisations. Before
entering consulting, she was responsible for assessing the return on investment
of training interventions within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Laini
has a BSc (Psychology), is a chartered psychologist and a member of the
Australian Psychological Society and Australian Human Resources Institute.

Lee
Coole
Lee Coole has worked as a Management Consultant since 1986.
For the first two years her focus was exclusively on psychometric testing – using
the tests for recruitment and, particularly at senior level, for team
building.
In 1989 she joined Hay Management Consultants and during the 9 years
she was there initially concentrated on Hay’s core practices of
Job Evaluation and Reward, then expanded her focus to include the development
and implementation of competency models and frameworks and later became
involved in large organisational change programmes.
Within Hay Lee also took on the role of an internal trainer for new
consultants and experienced consultants wishing to expand their area
of expertise. She developed and co-delivered courses relating to Hay’s
competency practice and some areas of organisational change.
Since January 1998 Lee has worked as an independent consultant. Areas
of input have not significantly changed though opportunities to extend
projects in order to provide further support during implementation have
increased.
Nick
Naylor Nick is a widely
experienced International manager with a strong track record of achievement
and innovation. He worked in marketing for major consumer products
companies (Colgate Palmolive and Mars) for over 20 years, building
brand portfolios and leading strategic development. During this time,
he lived and worked in the USA for 7 years, transferring best practice
and bringing a European perspective to the world’s largest consumer
market. He has also lived and worked in the Middle East and has spent
considerable time working across Europe, China and Hong Kong. While
at Mars, he spent three years as an HR Director and two years as Group
Research Director.
In 1997, Nick moved into general management and has since been Managing
Director of three companies, focusing particularly on performance improvement,
change management and delivering excellence in service. He started
his own company in 2003, specialising in individual, team and organisation
improvement, including coaching and mentoring, team building and change
management. Nick is a qualified Coach and NLP Trainer, has an honours
degree in Business Administration and Diploma in Industrial Studies
from Loughborough University.
Pam
Kennett
Pam Kennett is an experienced trainer and facilitator with a successful
track record in working with senior executives to deliver performance
improvement and behaviour change through training and development at
the team, individual and organization level.
Pam worked for approximately 10 years in marketing and management development
before joining the market leader in people based management consulting,
the Hay Group. When working in tertiary education, Pam headed up a staff
development and training function, designing training programmes and
contracting with suppliers. During her 8 years with the Hay group, Pam
managed key client relationships, both in the UK and internationally
and was responsible for a number of important projects such as design
and delivery of a performance management system for a retail bank with
50,000 employees including training of HR staff; development of the leadership
competencies of Head Teachers across England and Wales to provide a framework
for the largest management development programme in Europe throughout
1999/2000; the development and roll out of a competency based interview
process for an international management consultancy. She continues to
work as an Associate Director with the Hay Group today.
She has an MBA from City University, is a Member of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development and is a Registered Member of the British
Institute of Psychology qualifying her to administer and interpret a
range of psychological tests.
Paul
Hutt
Paul Hutt has been a consultant in people and performance
issues for 13 years. He first developed his interest in people management
through an economics degree (at Cambridge) and in various 'fast stream'
Civil Service roles - both in line management and teams developing employment
legislation. He was an Associate Director with the Hay Group (1990-2003),
before becoming an independent consultant. He works in both public and
private sectors (in particular, pharmaceuticals), and has worked with
nationals of many different countries.

Sara Hammond
Sara Hammond worked for two of the UK's leading people focused management
consultancies before becoming independent. Through her work as a consultant
and coach she has gained a wealth of experience across a range of industries
and organisations from major blue chips to IT start-ups. Her coaching
experience includes working with managers and teams at all levels in both
the public and private sector. Prior to being a consultant she worked
in a variety of line management, HR and organisational development roles.
Her breadth and depth of experience enables her to bring unique insights
to the organisations and people that she works with.
Sara graduated in Business Studies and has a Masters in Human Resource
Development. She is a qualified coach and is an accredited user of a number
of psychometrics, including the emotional competence inventory. Sara tutors
on recognised coaching qualifications and is a business mentor for the
Prince's Trust.

Sara Thurston
Until the end of February 2003, Sarah worked as an Associate Director
for HayGroup; a leading international HR Consultancy. She played a major
role in shaping HayGroup's, Management Development (OEMD), and Performance
Management and Executive Assessment practices. Her responsibilities included
managing a number of key accounts and training HayGroups consultants
and clients in areas including leadership, personal effectiveness, and
performance improvement and management. She has worked in the public
and private sectors on projects in the UK and overseas including many
for FTSE 100 clients
Sarah has now set up her own consultancy called TPartnership Ltd – the
name reflecting her preferred way of working with clients and colleagues
and is presently completing a project with an international IT company
setting up a new career and reward framework for over 15k employees.
She is an Associate for a number of organizations including Cerus Consulting,
Government’s Centre for Management and policy studies (CMPS) and
HayGroup.
She has a strong learning and and development background. Previous roles,
include working with a team of Occupational Psychologists for 4 years,
applying a range of selection techniques to client assignments – including
competency based interviewing, psychometrics and assessment centres,
working for Henley The Management College for 4 years designing and delivering
Management Training programmes, setting up the Training Department for
a Financial Service organization and lecturing in Management Skills for
ICL.
Sarah is a Chartered Psychologist and member of The British Psychological
Society. She is a registered level A and B test user and has an honours
degree in Psychology and an MBA.
Simon Spindler
Simon Spindler is a highly experienced organisational development consultant.
He has worked in a number of consultancy organisations, initially specialising
in assessment and development and later broadening his experience through
work in leadership development, performance management, competency-based
human resource consulting and executive coaching. His experience covers
a range of organisations in the UK and Europe, with particular experience
in the consumer sector, technology and services businesses. Simon studied
at Cambridge University; his previous career was in sales and product
management.

Liz Carrighan
Liz Carrighan is an experienced executive coach and consultant in leadership development. The outcomes of her interventions result in sustainable behaviour change leading to organisational culture change.
Her clients include Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, Philips, Barclays, the NHs and the Department for Education.
Until recently she was a consultant with the HayGroup where she was also Director of Human Resources for the UK Group.
Prior to this her career alternated between corporate roles in Sales, Marketing and Human Resources, and independent consultancy.
Liz has an MBA from Henley Management College where she is now a visiting tutor. She is accredited to use a number of psychometrics including MBTI and
the Emotional Competence Inventory. She is a Master Practioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and uses many of the
techniques to coach enhanced selling, influencing, and rapport building skills.
