Engagement Mapping is a workshop-based approach designed to be used with Executive teams or groups of senior managers and HR professionals. It explores how the ‘character’ of the organisation impacts on employee engagement and the potential dilemmas that arise in terms of balancing short-term business imperatives with the need to create an engaged and motivated workforce.
Specifically it explores ten aspects of organisational ‘character’ in terms of how the organisation approaches alignment, leadership, behaviour, management, change, measurement, work execution, development, deployment and interpersonal understanding.
The process highlights differences of opinion and degree of consensus and explores the implications of moving from the ‘current’ to an ‘ideal’ state as defined by the group.
